We are very proud of Uno here at Stardust Akitas.  His name says it all.  He was the first
born out of our first home-bred litter.  He was our first champion, our first group placer,
and the list goes on.  He has accomplished a lot over his show career.
At 7 1/2 months old he won his first group placement.  He finished
his championship at  13 months old.  The next year in 1997, he finished #11 Akita and
has finished in the top 10 the three following years.  He was been invited to 4 Top Twenty
Competitions at the National.  He is a Best in Specialty Show Winner, multiple group winner
and placer with at least 8 group wins.  And now we are proud of him as a producer.
He has produced 11 champions giving him his ROM (Register of Merit)
and has several other pointed and major pointed get.
He is retired now from the show ring but is occasionally shown for fun.
His first time shown as a Veteran, he won Best in Show Veteran!!
At the Lone Star Akita Club Specialty November 2002, Uno won Best Veteran
and Best in Sweeps Veteran.
In 2001, we worked on his obedience title CD and he got his first leg
May 20, 2001 with a score of 180.  On July 7 & 8th, 2001, we got his 2nd & 3rd
 legs and his Companion Dog title (CD)!!
As always, he is a good worker and just wants to please.

Uno had a good long life of 12 1/2 years before we lost him to old age. 
We miss you Uno!!
